Federico Mahora is an international brand, sometimes abbreviated to FM. The brand was founded in 2004 by Artur Trawiński. The Federico Mahora collection consists of diverse products, where high quality at an attractive price is a key element of the philosophy. The majority of our online collection consists of Federico Mahora perfumes. Federico Mahora perfumes are all unique fragrances. These perfumes are made with the same fragrance concentrates as other well-known perfumes. However, the major difference is that Federico Mahora perfumes are almost all in the same bottles, the fragrances are numbered instead of named, and there is no advertising. This significantly reduces costs, which is reflected in the price of a bottle of perfume. The difference between Federico Mahora's scent and that of other perfumes lies solely in the proportion of fragrance concentrate added to the perfume.

What exactly is FM perfume?

FM Parfums are perfumes of very high quality, but without expensive bottles or packaging. The fragrances (fragrance concentrates) are purchased from the same factories where well-known brands also source. Because a fragrance cannot be patented, the FM Group can purchase the same fragrances as all other companies. FM perfumes have a number, not a name. Furthermore, each fragrance is housed in the same bottle.

So it's fake?

We can answer this question quite briefly with a "no": of course FM perfume isn't fake. But we'll explain why FM perfume is often considered fake. The difference between FM perfume's scents and the labels of major, well-known brands is the same as the scent itself! Of course, there are many differences, such as the bottle, the name, the marketing, where you buy it, and, of course, the most important factor: the price.

FM perfume not fake but what's the deal?

Approximately 80% of the total global perfume market comes from the German factory DROM, located near Munich, which manufactures perfume concentrates for numerous perfume brands, including the FM GROUP. Fragrance concentrates themselves cannot be patented, as scents are too personal and everyone has a different opinion about them. Therefore, these concentrates are freely available for purchase by any manufacturer. However, the bottles, names, and designs can be patented, which is, of course, frequently done by major perfume brands worldwide.

FM perfume is made from the same concentrates as many other (well-known) manufacturers, but the difference is that FM puts almost all its fragrances in the same jars, gives each fragrance a number instead of a name, and the FM GROUP doesn't advertise, saving a lot of money. This is reflected in the price of a bottle of perfume.

Is there a difference then?

There is indeed a difference between FM Group fragrances and those of well-known brands, as there is a significant difference in the percentage of fragrance concentrate added to each bottle of perfume.

For example, a perfume can only officially be called a perfume if it contains at least 20% fragrance concentrate. In almost all cases, we buy eau de toilette from well-known brands, which have at least 10% fragrance concentrate added and are therefore considerably cheaper. The most well-known women's perfume (20% fragrance concentrate) costs €250 in a 30ml bottle. Given its absurdly high price, we flock to the eau de toilette version, which costs approximately €89 for 50ml. FM Group also has a Fermone line. This Fermone line has a minimum fragrance concentrate of 20%, usually costing around €22. Again, there will be no difference in quality, but the expensive marketing, housing, customer experience, and patent fees naturally contribute to a significant price difference.
