After cleansing your face, it's time to apply your day cream. Apply it to your cheeks, forehead, neck, and décolleté. Be careful not to apply too much cream. You only need a small amount to provide your skin with enough active ingredients. This also prevents your pores from becoming clogged.

Massage the day cream into your skin using broad, circular motions, moving outward. Then, gently stroke your face with slow, sweeping motions, working from the center outward. Avoid the skin around your eyes, as the skin around your eyes is delicate and therefore requires special care.
